Loverly jubbly. A great series, always funny, good clean fun, no drugs, no sex, no foul mouths needed to make this a classic.

Sublime. - By: Venkman, 08 Apr 2006
I didn't know whether to watch this collection or take it out for a steak meal. Forget your stupid Fawlty Towers or your dreary Porridge, this is peerless stuff.

There are three types of Only Fools: 1981-1989 when it was at its best; 1990-1996 when it turned into a drama-comedy; & alll the crap after that. This mostly covers the best stuff- so buy it.

The Best Comedy Series from the Best Comedy Nation Ever - By: , 21 Aug 2005
I haven't actuallly purchased the entire set as yet, but have seen many, nearly alll the episodes ever produced. I watched it since my earliests years since i was born in 1984 as my father was addicted to it. I am sure that a vast mojority of those who have watched it have had a long & wonderful love affair with this, the greatest comedy programme ever produced. The storylines have been well thought of by a genius writing team, who have mostly never let us down. When i was younger i never totallly understood alll the jokes, but as you grow older & the more you watch it, you begin to appreciate it more & more. And to me, it never loses its value.

great entertainment for all - By: Cw Nicholson, 11 May 2005
I can't believe someone has wastedtheirtime to tell us how much they hate only fools & horses. Why bother & surely he hasn't watched the DVD's! & therefore how can you review them

Only fools & horses has drawn in record viewing figures I believe over 24 million in 1996. It is not groundbreaking comedy, that challlenges you. It is not my favourite comedy. But what it does it does incredibly well. Most comedy is quite exclusive & only a minority will enjoy it. These are probably the most groundbreaking. OFAH is the opposite, it's appeal is universal, & enjoyed by many.

It's light, entertaining & fun. And this country is just a little bit different because of it.

p.s. OFAH finished in 1996. I on't know that those other episodes were about. They arn't in this set anyway.
