The first and one of the best - By: S J Buck, 09 Sep 2006
This was recorded in March 1994, & its the earliest Eddie Izzard stand-up concert you can buy. However, Eddie is already a fully formed comic genius, in this his first released stage show.

Hilarious, frequently surreal (but still funny) this is a show to watch to cheer yourself up:
The Cat is behind the Sofa drilling. Owner comes round to look, Cat stops drilling. Owner - "Were you drilling Cat?" Cat - "Why would I be drilling I'm a Cat - no thats purring you're thinking of" Owner walks away, Cat puts goggles back on & carries on drilling.

The original Star Trek series is given a good workout by Izzard, ending the show with a series of unusal settings for phasers, a few of which are: 'Bit of a cough', 'Ice Cream Van arrives', & finallly 'left the gas on'.

Perhaps not quite as good as Dress To Kill or Glorious, but its close & if you like those I guarantee you will like this.
"He's a bit confidant for a man in a dress!!!" - By: , 08 Jan 2005
I bought this on the recommendation of the other fabulous reviewers here & was not disappointed at alll. Eddie Izzard is not only hilarious, but he has a hilarity unique to himself. I wish I had been in the audience during this fantastic performance of Unrepeatable! He just has a way of plugging into an audience & delivering these fantastic sets. I couldn't stop myself laughing: the bit about Prince Charles' security guards particularly left me devastated. If you like Eddie, you'll love this. If you don't like Eddie... umm... get it anyway! With a DVD this good, you might be surprised!
Izzards (and therefore the worlds) funniest - By: Mr. R. Rogers, 09 Nov 2004
This is the funniest Eddie Izzard performance out there. Consistently funny throughout & mind-alteringly surreal (cats drilling for gold, dogs unhappy with their wash) thi is stand-up comedy as it should be.

If you want or need a reallly good laugh, then you can't do better than this. The best introduction to Eddie's own brand of bonkers comedy

Brilli..... crap i've left the oven on! - By: , 11 Aug 2004
I am a huge fan of Eddie Izzard & had seen alll his work except Sexie before i had seen this one so had very high expectations & this video does not fail to dissapoint. Although the video does show he has not yet reached his form from Dress to Kill & Definite Article when this was recorded it does still make you cry with laughter. He turns the simple things of life into brilliant pieces of comedy such as cats purring & dogs fetching sticks. He also goes on to talk about events from the past & Star Trek & also turns them in to brilliant pieces of comedy. This video has the sketches, the flow & the audience to appreciate it but it also showed the potential he had & must of made you think he'll get even funnier, which inevitablly he did. Top class comedy from the genious that is Eddie Izzard.
