Another sucess - By: Mr. Cl Hetherington, 03 Jul 2008
This film is actuallly more funny than the first movie. It actuallly shows how friends are very important in life & there is someone out there for everyone. A great family movie. You'll want to watch it again & again.
A KIDS FILM THAT THEY WILL ENJOY - By: stuart, 09 Dec 2007
Actuallly, I found this mildly amusing, It didn't have that humor/storyline for everyone of a Shrek or Nemo, but that is okay. Not every Kid's Movie has to appeal to the whole family. Since this is a Kid's Movie, & I don't like to rate/inflict adult standards onto purely Kid's Movies outside of appropriateness -- message, if any; language & type of action, etc. The whole thing boils down to "How did the kids react to it?"

Well, the kids liked it a lot. And at the bottom line, when the day is done, that is what counts when you rent or take your kids to see a Kid's Movie. That being said, I am not interested in the complexity of plot lines, holes in story or academy award quality performances.

The kids say 7, & that is good enough for me.
Spook Time - By: M. G. Hatfield, 19 Sep 2007
Take a close look at the picture it Hilary Duff of Disney fame one of her early roles as Wendy the Witch who is very like Casper & friendly.

This is a good first film for Hilary & a fairly good starting point for the films which is continued with Casper & Capser a sprited begining.

So if you like Hilary buy thios & you get in her early years.
A Fun, Wonderful Family Film!!! - By: , 09 Jul 2005
Hilary Duff AAA+++ & George Hamilton AA++

I must say that this is one of the sweetest, cutest films ever made. Hilary Duff is beautiful & her lead role as Wendy the Good Little Witch is pulled up with the allluring spunk & childish impishness that carries this delightful tale of Good over Evil.

And to be sure, George Hamilton as Desmond Spellman the evil Wizard/Male Witch is a perfect choice for the role of the heavey...along with his trademark "Is my hair OK?" self-indulgence & his magical way of being a reallly bad guy while still being fun. Hamilton is a real meanie, but in a light enough way that the whole family can watch without fear of foul words being uttered from his mouth, or some vulgar ethnic South Central L.A. ghetto gestures that are too overused today in too many movies today. Hamilton brings a classy elegance to the role of a villain we can hate, but like at the same time.

Wendy's aunts & the Casper's 'uncles' are played beyond perfection by each gifted actor/actress in those roles. They are hilariously funny, outlandish & perfect imitations of what the comic books & prior movies have led us to know them to be, alll these years. Not remarkably it was like watching my favorite paperback episode come to life. You loved them alll, but you reallly enjoyed it most when Wendy & Casper would achieve the upper hand.

Wendy/Hilary was tremendously successful in her part & viewing the Wendy Meets Casper was an experience akin to love at first sight. Love for the the prettiness of Hilary Duff, love for the sweetness we have learned to expect in both Wendy the Good Little Witch & Casper the Friendly Ghost, & love of a good time where the whole family can laugh at the magnificent special effects & the gaiety in the movie from beginning alll the way to its happy conclusion.

On a scale of 1 to 5, Wendy Meets Casper can only be given a full 5!

10 points for Hilary Duff as the perfectly enchanting Wendy. 10 points for alll the fab actors & actresses playing the co-lead & support roles 5 points for the storyline...a truly magical event 5 points for the special effects 5 points for Wendy in her dancing dress...*blushes

All in alll, a must see for every family.
