My Gulity Pleasure! - By: Ms. K. N. L. Walker, 21 Jan 2008
Ok... so I'm 18 years old, & I grew up with Thomas The Tank Engine on the television.

I still love Thomas now (not the new episodes, they are rubbish, why they brought it loads of new characters & ruined the show... I will never know!)

I had some friends over a few nights back, & what was kind of embarassing was that they found my Thomas & Friends dvd collection while we were looking for a movie to watch! (I have alll of the seasons that have been released, 7 so far!)

They have teased me about it non-stop since the party, but I don't reallly care... Thomas is & will always be my favourite television programme. It is just amazing.. I love Ringo Starr's narration in the earlier seasons & I love the way they animated the expressions on the engines' faces :)

I think I love it now for the same reasons I loved it when I was a little kid... it was the best show on television, alll the others kind of... well, they weren't good, let's put it that way. It's the same now.

Buy this dvd collection, if you loved Thomas when you were young it will take you back to those days, & if you love Thomas now.... well, JUST BUY IT!
Not as described - By: Nobster, 27 Nov 2007
This is a boxed set of 5 discs containing series 1 to 5, not alll 5 series on a single disc as advertised. I probably wouldn't have bought it if Amazon had bothered to describe it accurately.
GREAT GREAT GREAT - By: Mr. Luke B. Baron, 24 Feb 2007
This realy is the bee's knees.. i have [...] son & i must say im so happy he likes them..I used to watched them like mad in the 80's when i was a nipper, i agree with above posts these reallly do teach great morals to young children.. I think teletubies & stuff like that are just brain washing kids.. BRING BACK THOMAS!!
Thomas is the best - By: thomas Lover, 04 Jan 2007
this is a little embarrassing but i'm 14 & i watched thomas alll my life & i still do & this is a great dvd for kids & people of alll ages thiss has the first five seasons of thomas which were very good because it only goes downhill from here i've seen most of the episodes from thoseseasons on t.v. but i'm getting them on dvd because they were that good & i even used my own money to get it & i'm greedy see thats how could these are i used my own money but yea if your looking for something to keep your kids quiet & teach them valuable lessons "because it helped turn me into what i am today which is a nice polite gentleman that has very good manners & always says please & thank you" this is a good dvd for you & if you want to know more just ask me & i will be glad to tell you anymore information you need to know i will even suggest episodes that i thought were very good. bye & thank you.
Excellent collection of Thomas the Tank Engine - By: , 27 Nov 2005
This is a great collection to own for little ones who are avid train lovers. The stories are well & clearly narrated by Ringo Starr. The stories are both entertaining as well as educational especiallly if you just happen to live by a railway station as we do. And the graphics expressing the emotions of the various trains are well done. The only thing I didn't like was the rather repetitive theme song at the start & end of each episode, however my boy was quite oblivious to it.
