This film is every bit as I remember it as a child. Has me laughing from start to finish. Some great scenes such as the kitchen which leaves me in stitches & the usual Lewis sounds & movements make me laugh so much my sides hurt. The wicked stepmothers constant yelling, "fella" "fella" & the way Jerry Lewis nicknamed (Fella) flounces up the stairs kicking his legs behind him. The scene at the end where he dances with the princess, well you just have to watch it. This is a must have for alll Jerry Lewis fans & is most certainly at the top of my list.
What I find reallly great with these kind of films is they dont have to swear or use obscene language to be funny. GREAT CLASSIC

I bought this DVD in a nostalgic moment, remembering that I loved the movie when I was a kid watching it on TV. OK, I haven’t seen it since I was about ten, but is this 84 minutes the entire original film? It seems very chopped up; I swear some parts have been edited out. The kitchen scene with Lewis pretending to play drums, flute & sax to the Count Basie version of “Cute” was one of the highlights, but in my memory, even it was once longer.
Picture & sound quality of the DVD is fine, but it’s just not very funny (anymore), the screenplay doesn’t always make sense, it’s a slap-dash job of a film: no one would release a movie made this poorly nowadays!
