I started watching this series because one advert looked amazing. So I bought the first season box set, & the first episode made me realise how great this is. So I completed my collection, & bought five of the ten books (I can't get hold of the other five), & have asked for the soundtrack on my birthday list. I am hooked. This will not be a waste of money, I can assure you.

The first series starts off as a american teen series, with love & romance playing the biggest parts, but as the series continues you find yourself watching each scene, willing on your favorite character. The series finale is very good, & worth watching twice.
The second series starts off well, & then the standard drops. its watchable but not reallly overly important to the overalll story, & then something terriable happens to one of my favorite characters, then it gets interesting. the series finale is excellent & you end up shouting abuse at a certain person, (don't worry not gonna spoil it for you). By this time you are hooked & you wanna know what happens to the unlikely aliens, which you'll just have to see.
The third series is ok, but not a patch on the first & second. The first series eps keep ending with clifhangers willing you to watch more, the second series is definately a TV type show. whereas each character finds they specific powers & gain the ability to concentrate them more. this series lacks in story archs but is still fun to watch.
the last series is good but it will keep you guessing until the very end....
I would bye this & enjoy it for what it is, the overalll story is compelling & watchable.

I was up to 4.00 am in the morning because i couldn't sleep with thinking about what was going to happen next.
Max & Liz are so perfect for each other, it's a romance, but it's a sci-fi & should have run on for more than 3 series!
Jason Behr is one good looking guy - maybe it's more of a chick series than for a man - but still fantastic.
If you want romance, action thrown in with a bit of comedy then this is for you, it won't let you down!
ROSWELL - SEASONS 1-3 - By: , 03 Jun 2005 OUT OF THIS WORLD !!! This is truly a great boxset, 1-3, & is a perfect way to escape the traumas of the real world & enter into the world of Max, Isabelle, Micheal, Liz, Maria & Alex & of course Kyle & Sheriff Valenti. It is funny, clever, & a sophisticated approach to aliens living among us. It has the romance factor & has some of the best story lines about "boy gets girl, boy loses girl" & so on, it also has the firey but loving relationship between Maria & Micheal which is a great coupling since Joey & Pacey !!
This is a must buy, for alll sci-fi fans & fans of series such as Dawson's Creek, The O.C. & others like these. You will love it as soon as Max & Liz bond in an amazing scene in the pilot episode, accompanied with the haunting sound of Sarah McLachlan. The music is brilliant, the show is totallly excellent. Please buy this boxset (alll of them, you must to see it to the very end) you wont regret it.
The best box set I own!!! - By: , 14 Apr 2005 This is the best box set that I own. I feel that over the course of the three seasons the audience saw how things changed for the people within the group, & I think that by owning this box set you can always go back & watch them alll again if wish to do so.
All the cast were amazing through the whole three seasons, & I like the way that in the first season it focused on the relationships that were being formed between them alll, & then how in the second season it focused more on the sci-fi side of it & then how in the third season it focused on both the sci-fi & the relationships that were taking place.
This is most for any person who is a fan of Roswell.
