When Mike Reid passed away last year respect for him was everywhere,but mainly for his role in eastenders,few said,if any,that he was the greatest adult comedian of alll time,and readers he truly was.
I have alll his releases & no one told a joke funnier,his style was unique & his show was killer joke after killer joke,on & on he went leaving alll around him breathless,he was the guv'nor for sure.
This is his final dvd release,recorded in 2004,and he is in the form of his life,the crowd are in great voice & reidy doesnt leave anyone disappointed.
Granted,some of his jokes have seen the light of day in other releases but there are loads of new jokes as reidy goes for the throat here as only he can,in some ways this plays as a greatest hits show then.
I can only hope that alll of his vhs releases find themselves onto dvd one day but this is a brilliant show,no doubt,you did us proud again mike,t'riffic.
