There's a few reviews here with people disapointed that Cleo Rocos was missing from this DVD. May I point out that this is Kenny's ITV series NOT his BBC series which featured Cleo Rocos.
Having seen a few full episodes of Kenny's ITV series I can tell you that it becomes hard to decide if it's better or just good as his BBC series, but many of you will not expierence that with this DVD! This DVD is so badly put together that it's the 2 compilation videos from the late 80's (I bought them before & was disapointed with the bad editing). If you want to see how good Kenny's ITV series was I would reccomend that you try to get you're hands on some original episodes or the extremely rare compilation videos from 1981 (three were made). I can guarante that you'll laugh so hard you'll cry.
For Everett's BBC series I would reccomend that you read my upcoming review on the "In The Best Possible Taste" video from 1999.
All in alll due to bad editing the DVD would get 3 out of 5 stars from me.

I purchased this DVD after seeing the TV documentary & remembering how much I loved this as a kid. My god, what a load of crap. 'Naughtiest bits'? You could do them under misdescriptions act. This is mediocre material padded out with far far too much Hot Gossip & NO Cleo Rocos whatsoever. The most famous clips aren't included. Feel reallly cheated. Only gave it 2 stars because Kenny is fab anyway.

being brought up watching cuddly ken during the 70`s & 80`s i was waiting in anticipation for a dvd release of his material.i won`t go into too much detail about the dvd ,check other reviews.but i must point out that of the 120 minutes running time about 20 odd minutes are taken up by dance routines by hot gossip.these exact same routines are also an extra on the dvd & in my opinion should have been an extra only.why repeat this twice is a rip off to fans who could of had an extra 20 minutes of kennys archive sketches in the main programme .this said it brought back great memories of a true one off genius.hopefully those good chaps at the beeb will release complete series of his later kenny everett television show.but i believe there are copyright/clearance issues with some of the material.as for cleo rocos,she didn`t appear until his bbc shows so don`t expect to see her on this dvd.this dvd is worth the price just to see wogan get gunged,david essex doing a sid snot, & a sketch with kenny trying to bump off the late great bernard manning,alll in the best possible taste of course.
Hit and miss compilation - By: Cartimand, 15 Jul 2007 I had great happy memories of this comic genius - but sadly, this compilation doesn't reallly do them justice.
For starters, it certainly isn't the naughtiest of the "naughty bits". That, surely would have to include the Hot Gossip dancer who famously hadn't ... er-hem... shaved too well. Not to mention the classic Brother Lee Love scene in which the audience repeats the last word of each line, to extremely naughty effect. Or how about the Sid Snot classic - "So I said to my girl - your knickers are coming down. How do you know? She replied. No no. It's an order, not an observation... (or words to that effect).
Sorry, but this is pretty bland material, that covers none of the edgier stuff that cuddly Ken famously got away with on TV.
Some of the Marcel Wave scenes are still very funny (the mirror scene with David Essex is brilliant), & the final scene, with Kenny being dumped in a dustbin is genuinely poignant, but overalll, this is a generallly uninspired collection.
Finallly, the disappointing "extras" are just a flat text account of Kenny's life & a superfluous repeat of some Carla & Hot Gossip bits that are already included in the main feature!
Please, let's have a genuine naughty bits DVD sometime soon!

Kenny Everett was at one time touted as a controversial & somewhat groundbreaking radio & TV personality. For those wanting to watch any of his TV shows, there's this DVD - a package of some of (ITV) Thames Television's "Kenny Everett Video Show", mostly 1970s, previously available on 2 VHS releases titled " ...Naughty Bits" & " ...Complete Naughty Bits". Then there's the 1991 BBC VHS release - "Kenny Everett: In the Best Possible Taste!", up to the 1980s, which has some of the BBC's "Kenny Everett TV Show". The Beeb (a term Kenny is said to have come up with) aren't in the habit of confirming or denying planned DVD releases for their back catalogue. All this means that some of Kenny's characters appear on one release, but not the other.
Both releases have dated poorly in terms of technology (superceeded), & celebrities (faded or fading local stars). The humour is of the puerile kind, which will appeal if you've retained some of your 13 year old mindset. So which release to get? I'd recommend renting first. My two friends say the same. Highlights of the DVD are Marcel Wave's strip, Kenny Everett: "It was me alll the time!", (studio crew chuckle in the background). And Tinsel Man, "He's everywhere! He's everywhere!". A highlight of the VHS - 2 out-takes with Billy Connolly. Another is Everett's send up of Rod Stewart. His ass gets bigger as he sings, "Do ya think I'm sexy?". Eventuallly "Stewart" floats up to the ceiling. See the level of humour? The infamous Bee Gee's impersonation is here, but NOT ALL OF IT! Kenny interviews the Bee Gees, alll of whom are Kenny dressed up. Kenny: "Why are your songs so popular?", the "Bee Gees" sing their tune: "Because we're living in a world of fools". A doco on the Bee Gees had one of the Gibb brothers chuckling at the mention of Kenny's impersonation of them - the ultimate compliment.
A truly "Best of ... " would include the whole Bee Gees send-up. This is where Kenny takes pills each designed to transform him into the Bee Gees. Pills to give him big teeth, a hairy chest, to triplicate, & so forth. The final pills for the falsetto voice don't get a high enough register, so Kenny grabs a handful & downs them. A "Best of ... " would have the Barbara Streisand send-up (her nose gets bigger), the Elton John one (his glasses... ), & Angry of Mayfair's encounter with David Bowie, Angry: "I fought for men like you in the war! And I never got one!". For such a release as this you'd have to get copyright release & co-operation between both Thames (or whoever has their rights now) & the BBC. What are the chances of that happening?
