This version of Cyrano De Bergerac is a gem for those people who enjoy a Shakepearean type drama but in an understandable style,a stage classic this picture has some of the best duelling sequences I have seen ,and tells the story of Cyrano De Bergerac 17th century swordsman soldier poet philosopher whose large nose robs him of the confidence to approach his true love the beautiful Roxanne (His cousin)his feeling are given a chance to emerge when he woos her on behalf of another handsome young suitor who has no gift with words,whom he aids by tutoring him in the use of his own verses,while he remains

This is a good movie perhaps not very well known but it contains within a great story ,funny ,exciting & extremely moving buy Cyrano De Bergerac its different but very very good
