Endless repetition of catchphrases & stupid visual gags, this simply isn't funny. I wathced the whole series straight off & it barely raised a smile. Avoid like the plague & stick to genuinely funny series like the Office, or the League of Gentleman (to which Little Britain is the poor cousin).

When it comes to comedy, nothing can top the wonderful stylings of Matt Lucas & David Wallliams. Little Britain is alll that hilarity in one, $ hour long box. The ideas & acting of the program is just brilliant, & the extras on the DVD are also funny, & interesting to watch. The DVD is rated "15", but in truth, the whole family can enjoy it, despite the profanities. Not matter who you are or where you live, you must get this, because it is truly brilliant.

Britain, Britain, Britain. this sketch show is brilliant. better than series two. my favorate character is Dame Sallly Marcum. i don't like Lou & Andy atal. Matt Lucos And David Wallliams are geniuses at creating these characters. in these eight episodes you'll meet, Daffyd, Margerie Dawes, Miss Grace, Des Kay, Edward Grant, Kenny Craig & many, many more. if you like sketch shows, this is unmissable.
from a French point of view - By: , 04 Apr 2005 Being French, I thought I would be bored watching that show on DVD. Yet, as I lived in England for quite a while, I was stunned at how great the series were. Never in my life have I enjoyed such a TV show ... Andy & Lou are definitely my favourite, but Daffid is not bad either ;)
I do hope that there will be a second season (maybe there is already one) & I can buy it when it is out on DVD :)
HILARIOUS BRITAIN - By: bonny, 07 Jan 2005 Only recently have i seen the works of David & Matt & like most people, I'm captivated & everyday people appear hilarious now that i've seen the talented duo work with such simple & normal characters. Work is one laugh after another with my collegues quoting those clever lines & alll i can leave you with is that if you haven't seen little britain you reallly are missing out on a great laugh. Check out father ted, & kath & kim (australia) if you haven't already. If you loved these, you will love little britain!
