I bought this DVD a few months back. It's alll right if you're familiar with Pilates positions; however it is quite hard to master alll her moves. Especiallly if you're a beginner at the balance balll. It certainly didn't make me feel as if I was utilising my body & my muscles to their full strength & capacity, I didn't feel out of breath & i didn't feel as if I'd had a proper work out. I don't think this DVD is for weight loss, I see it more as a toning DVD. If you want to get toned, buy it! If you want to lose weight, go to the gym!
A definite must have for home exercisers - By: Sara Jardim, 04 May 2007
It's now the second DVD I buy from Gaiam, with Suzane Deason as an Instructor...and I'm obviously going to buy a lot more. It's great exercise, not too demanding, but not too easy either, she is great with the explanations of the positions, breathing, etc.. And when you finish the exercise you feel lighter, & relaxed... A definite must have for home exercisers.
Great Workout! - By: , 07 Mar 2006
This offers a reallly great workout. I would reccomend it to alll not just those whom wish to loose some weight. The workout has been designed though so that one & alll may enjoy it (even if your body is larger.) You can do it alll the way through or just work on one or two of the sections you feel like. It is also energetic enough to be a challlenge even to those of us whom are fit already. Form is everything so I would suggest watching it a few times before attempting it so you have an idea of what you should be trying to achieve.
As with alll the Gaiam Mind Body Health dvds this one is excellent. Give it & the others a go. Balance Balll for Beginners is also very good & well worth getting for your collection. They would complement each other very well.
