I can't recommened this DVD boxset enough, it is a superb package for alll Simpsons fans.
The fourth season reallly was without a doubt, one of the best in Simpsons history, episodes like "Mr. Plow", "Lisa's First Word", & "Last Exit to Springfield" & "Marge in Chains" are just laugh out loud hilarious! When you watch these DVDs, there reallly is little wonder why the Simpsons is still going & as a popular today as it was back when it started. The whole package of the DVD sets are truely fantastic & with so many bonus features chucked in, you'll be entertained for hours.
I recommened this to everyone who has a passion for the greatest cartoon series of alll time but be warned, this is a package of which you find yourself playing in your DVD player over & over, again & again.

TheBestSeason - By: Mrs. T. Woodin, 18 Sep 2007 This is by far my favourite Simpsons Season. It might be because it was the first one I bought or the episode quality. I think it was a number of things. I can remember clearly a number of scenes: Bart's chalkboard gag in the infamous 'A Streetcar Named Marge' episode, Homer's coma (caused by an exploding April Fools joke) & Bart's romance with the girl next door. And another thing, I can't believe that my favourite episode was 'So Its Come To This, A Simpsons Clip Show'-a show put together with bits borrowed from previous seasons! But there you have it- Genius.
Buy it- trust me- you won't be disappointed!
Simpsons Season 4 - By: John Swarzwelder, 16 Sep 2007 Many people consider this to be the best season ever. I consider this to be te season were things ot silly, that's not to say I don't like this season (see rating) there are so many episodes here that I'd be quite happy to see on number one of top Simpsons episodes, this season also saw Homer (instead of Bart) being the centre of more episodes. Here are my favourites from this series:

2. Duffless
3. Krusty Gets Kancelled
5. A Streetcar Named Marge
6. Whacking Day
7. Homer The Heretic
8. Mr Plow

24 Episodes at about a quid an episode = Bargin - By: Tangerine, 18 Jul 2007 From the start of Kamp Krusty to Krusty Gets Kancelled this season maintains the standards that Season 3 reallly set. Episodes such as Itcy & Scratchy: The Movie, Brother from the Same Planet & Duffless ensure that you have to watch just one more. How on earth the writers were able to maintain these standards is perhaps the most fascinating thing of alll. Yet they do it with apparent ease. The Simpsons universe was steadily getting more populated at this point & this just made it even more interesting & even more funny. A must for any DVD collection.
