I love this series, Ross Kemp at his absolute best! If you have never seen this series before, I highly recommend that you get the complete series! Brilliant story lines & great acting! Loved every minute of this! A must buy for alll!

Series 2 & 3 are certainly the best of them, series 4 also looks good - despite only seeing one episode, I eagerly await this series to be released.
Anybody who likes military style TV shows, I'd recommend this to - it may not be the most accurate representation of the SAS but it is most certainly enjoyable to watch.
Either buy or rent these DVDs, if this is your thing, you won't regret it!

Series Two is the jewel in this collection. The first series was macho bull & totallly unrealistic scenarios, whilst series two was much more realistic. However, the characters, planning & fight scenes are fantastic throughout. Series 3 (which I've only seen on TV so far) is, again, disappointing & obviously lacking the consulting role of Chris Ryan. There are several patrol & fight scenes that the SAS simply would not handle in the way portrayed!!!
Ultmate! - By: James M. Buttler, 26 Jan 2005 Can a TV drama achieve top quality? Can it replicate the sort of realistic fight scenes, special effects & drama you would associate with the best movies? Can it successfully bring alll of this together within an hour long slot with breaks for ads? Ultimate Force achieves alll of the drama & excitement you get with a good movie with the character identification that comes with a TV series. This is a recipe for success & Ultimate Force is high quality with a top cast & decent plotlines. So what if Ross Kemp is Grant Mitchell in everything he does - Grant Mitchell makes a great Sergeant Henno Garvie.
I am not going to detail the adventures of Red Troop. All I will say is if you know Ultimate Force already & enjoyed it then buy this. If you caught a couple of episodes & thought it was OK - this DVD is for you too. It is great value & high energy entertainment.
The only criticism is that the special features are poor but then I did not buy the DVD for them.
