JACK BAUER - By: Bargain Hunter, 12 Oct 2009
Brilliant film with the main character being Kiefer Sutherland.

Great escapism...Jack always wins through, despite alll.

Rules are for everybody else....Jack has his own agenda..

24 fanatics & viewers in general, the third installlment in the 24 franchise clearly scores a cracking hat-trick, which means the makers simply maintain the high standards that were set in season 1 & 2.

The main question is, does it supercede season 2, which in my opinion is the best. The answer is, "No", however, it's still ELECTRIC.

The third season as 24 tradition goes, contains the essential elements (suspense, tension & drama), which has made 24 so successfull. But hold your breath, there's a pleasant surprise in the form of a more healthier but not excessive dosage of action (exciting) accompanied by GRITTINESS (realistic & raw). The addition of these two effective ingredients spices up the plot & and presents us, the audience with our beloved '24', in a fresh way. The makers have clearly approached the concept differently but ultimately achieve the same goal, which is making pure entertainment & keeping us, & this is of utmost importance, INTERESTED.

All the key actors return to provide award winning performances, which are unbelievably consistent. Dennis Haysbert (President Palmer) returns & produces again, an inspirational performance. Haysbert's screen presence is electrifying.
Now, coming to the backbone of '24', Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) returns in style & is the show stealer as he produces a gritty performance by displaying a detailed & intense character with brilliance.

In this season, Jack has to fight his inner demons (you'll find out when you watch it), which is deatailed on screen with skill, & in doing so, engages the audience with priority. This results in forcing the viewer or shalll I say, I was forced to ask, "Will Jack do it?" & also forced to say at the same time, "Please don't". Fellow fans, this is why I LOVE 24.

People, this season, in short is SUPERB.

Please note that every season is linked therefore, you need to watch season 1 & 2 to understand season 3 & so forth.

24: Season 3 is the 'EPITOME OF PURE ENTERTAINMENT'.

Enjoy!

24 season 3 - By: Mr. Christopher Beech, 06 Jun 2009
I got reallly hooked on 24 watching season 1, enjoyed season 2 & I don't think this is any worse - I guess I'm just getting bored because the formula is now familiar & I think CTU might have put a stop to people having relationships in the same office!
24 series 3 - By: Mrs. J. R. Wisdom, 18 Apr 2009
if I thought series 3 would be a let down then I was wrong! Same slick pace & great cast. Will look forward to the next series. Don`t know how they keep up the pace!
