Laurel and Hardy Box Set - By: Mrs. H. L. Eames, 18 Mar 2010
Loving every minute of these classics. Even my girls aged 6 & 9 appreciate how good they are compared to the Chuckle brothers, good clean humour . Would recommend this box set to any Laurel & Hardy fans out there great value.
LAUREL AND HARDY BOXED DISC SET - By: , 02 Mar 2010
Hi I can only go on what my husband says about the boxed disc set as I personallly cant stand to sit & watch them. But I bought them for my husband for Christmas & he loves them. They look good as a boxed set & it keeps him quiet for a good few hours, HE would recommed them to anyone who likes Laurel & hardy obviously.

The delivery was very good & pleased with the purchase as a present

A real treasure trove!! - By: O Hooligan, 07 Feb 2010
If you're a fan then regardless of whether the 3-4 page booklets are included - they weren't in mine - then this is a box of magic.
The films look great - even, i have to say, the colourised versions which i don't watch. Great care has been taken to restore these films & it shows in every frame & quite rightly - these are cinematic masterpieces!
Long live Laurel & Hardy!
PURE NOSTALGIA - By: G. Howe, 31 Jan 2010
Watched these when i was very young. Everyone my age will remember they were on during the school holidays ( along with Harold Lloyd , The Flashing Blade & Why Dont You... ) Suddenly they seemed to disappear from our screens. Well no need to worry, i can watch them any time i choose, & i do. Although the set is not complete, it does contain a lot of my earliest memories of Laurel & Hardy, along with some silent gems. It does contain some ( what i would calll irrelevant ) shorts with other 20's stars ( & Laurel & hardy appearances ) There are also colourised versions for the younger audience, although again, i think the real worthwhile nostalgia here is that they are presented in the original black & white formats. I also thought that the foreign language versions of some of my favourites were fascinating & the knowledge that L & H often did repeated takes in numerous languages for the overseas markets. Is there a complete Laurel & Hardy longer film collection? i need to look into that. Overalll it is a great collection & well worth the price. The Laurel & Hardy shorts may well be 80 - 90 years old but in my opinion have never been bettered.
