Not all animation is for kids.- By: Blue Phoenix, 24 May 2007 This film has strong language, sexual references & gore practicallly from the beginning along with some fairly disturbing & unsettling scenes. But don't let it put you off unless you're squeamish. The English dub is solid & well-acted (the film is originallly in German) & the storyline is engaging. The animation is smooth with fantastic backgrounds & character designs.
The story revolves around Francis the cat. He moves to a new house with his owner & finds that there is a serial murderer on the loose slaughtering the neighbourhood's cats. Francis decides to investigate & find the murderer. As well as engaging a mysterious cult, Francis also begins to have vivid dreams & nightmares that seem to offer clues as to the murderer's indentity & whereabouts.
If you have a weak stomach then this is not a film for you. But if you decide to watch it you're in for a treat, albeit a slightly disturbing treat.
