Agree not the same without Jamie. - By: P. James, 31 Jul 2008
I think not only did ITV mess up with their roster but the way the 3 key characters were killed off was very poor. Clearly they have alll left before they shot their departures so their deaths are visuallly very weak played by doubles with hidden faces. The lack of emotion from kept on their deaths is also noticeable but I can't blame him considering the farce. The rest of the season for me is a poor distraction from the loss of the key characters. Their replacements are too wooden to build up the level of charisma we have seen. The absence of the com's & Hereford HQ also make it more diluted.

I don't know what happened behind the scenes at ITV at the end of season 2 but ITV was reallly not on the balll come season 3. They had gold but traded it for bronze.

Ultimate Entertainment! - By: David Addison, 23 May 2008
You know,I reallly don't understand some people, when they don't like what they're seeing. How could anybody knock this show.Personallly,I love it.Ross Kemp, who I hated in Eastenders,is my favourite actor in Ultimate Force. The action is great, and I've liked alll the main characters in Red Troop.Even Heather Peace, entering the 3rd series,is a huge favourite. She's strong, but also willing to play the damsel in distress, when in the bad guys clutches. The same goes for alll the actresses, who are great sports to do so.It can be daft, but a lot of people should lighten up.Its not real, just a tv show.To me though, its great fun, watching Henno & the gang beating the bad guys!
More of the Same - By: Mrs. S. I. Morgan, 16 Apr 2008
As with the first two series, I love this! Ross Kemp plays a fantastic role in this! It is meant to be entertaining & it certainly is. Its not meant to be real, so take it for what it is entertainment!
Disappointing... - By: R. Standish, 14 Jun 2007
Having bought UF series 1 & 2 on dvd & enjoyed them greatly, I eagerly bought series 3 & 4. I've watched series 3 today & am more than slightly disappointed in it.
Without most of the cast of series 1 & 2 - Jamie Draven, Tony Curran, Danny Sapani & Alex Reid (in fact the comms angle isn't even covered in series 3), the character element of the series seems non existant. It's a case of move in, fire guns, roll end credits... I found the character of Jamie Dow (Jamie Draven) in series 1 & 2 as interesting as the "action". Also in series 3, "Dave" seems to be a straight replacement for Ricky Mann (Danny Sapani) but without the background scenes, one feels he never reallly carries it off.
There are no scenes at Hq, Hereford, either; again undermining the reality of the show. The reality of having a woman in the SAS is neither here nor there to me (unlike some of the above reviews) - the truth is the producers seemed to have concentrated more on bullets than characters & as such both the plot & the show overalll suffers... Hence a 3/5, whereas series 1 & 2 get a 5/5.
Ultimate Force- SeriesThree - By: Chris W, 24 Sep 2006
This new series of Ultimate Force is brilliant. Ross Kemp acts brilliantly as his charactor 'Henno Garvie' & the storyline is brilliant. There are never dull moments as Blue Troop combats global terroism.

This is a great drama & the best S.A.S likeness i have seen in a long time. Well done ITV for making such a great series of programs!
