Brilliant - By: S. Williams, 03 Jun 2007
As a huge fan of two pints, i disagree with many of these reviews, i watch the 'endless' repeats of the program on BBC3 & never fail to laugh at it, even though i know every word to the show i still watch it. the 5 main actors & actresses work so well together & the show brings us laughs, tears, hapiness, sadness. I would recommend this program to anyone over the age on 15 as it does have many sexual referances in it.
Unfunny dross - By: Splossy, 16 Mar 2006
Amongst the worst of comedy produced by the BBC. I'm yet to actuallly meet anyone who likes it. It's unoriginal, obvious, slightly crass dross that appears to be targetted at the chav community. Even "My Family" is funnier than this - a lot funnier.

High disrecommended.

Two pints light on laughs - By: , 06 Feb 2006
This intermible show is forever repeated on BBC3 so theres no need to give commissioners the wrong idea by purchasing this DVD.

Why? Well, its a ropey programme with average jokes you see coming a mile off, to start with. Too, its very cliched in EVERY way: relationships, production, humour. 'Tedious' & 'predictable' sum Two pints... up for me.

Look at the episode titles above, for gawds sake; to me they belch (what else?) Loaded mag standard laffs, about 10 years past their use by date.

Still, what do i know? Well, primarily that Two Pints... is a bland artless lump of a show which isn't funny because to me it seems like it was created lovelessly by committee. The kind of too anxious by half to reach out to the yoof committee you imagine the BBC to be full of.

2 pints of larger - By: Mrs. M. Sidgwick, 31 Oct 2005
I am a northern 40 something woman, & to me this is one of the best written comedies I have seen in recent years. It cannot be compared to other comedies it's one on it's own. There are plenty of Gaz's & Johnny's in this world, as ther was 20 years ago, we alll liked to go to the pub & have fun. The dry & very down to earth humour reflects this. Most of us have been Donna's & Janet's at sometime or another, I am glad to say that there are not many Louis's about. This is a classic to me & reflects a period in most peoples lives. Whatch & enjoy
Hilarious! - By: Mr. Dj Doherty, 17 Oct 2005
To sum this comedy show up in 1 word I would use Hilarious! This series in particular, I think Ralf Little is hilarious he plays & acts the part of Johnny reallly well, Gaz (Will Mellor) is also fantastic & plays his part well too! The girls are excellent in particular Donna & Janet. You have got to watch these episodes a few times to reallly appreciate them & make you laugh but it will! I would recommend this to anyone who loves Sitcom's which I do :)
