24: day2 - By: Gordon Barclay, 20 Feb 2010
This a brilliant, fast paced action sequel. The story twists at the most unexpected times & is captivating. Latterly it becomes a little uncredible but this is irrelevant as by then the story is so gripping you'll not reallly notice. Don't be fooled by the one hour episode is for one hour of a day, or that there are 24 episodes - it flies past so quickly, the writers & producers are to be congratulated. Two points though, [first] it would be better to have seen season one beforehand as the same characters appear & the relationships are developed in this season & [second] don't have anything else important to do - you'll end up watching hours at a time at the expense of alll else!!
Mostly good.....but - By: I. Cunningham, 13 Feb 2010
More of the same - great action, plenty off cliffhangers, & a credible hero in Jack Bauer. Plot twists & turns just enough to keep you guessing, so alll in alll a good buy. We've just bought season 3, so hoping for more of the same standard.
A couple of characters are - to my mind - less than plausible. The President's ex-wife's influence & the ease with which she strolls through security & convinces President Palmer about anything is getting a bit daft. However, the Daft award absolutely goes to Kim Bauer, who has the common sense of a lemming thus far, & has been kidnapped (at least) six times in the first two series by my count. Being kidnapped six times in what is actuallly two days is just laughable nonsense, & I reallly hope the writers have made her role more believable from series 3 onwards. We actuallly fast forwarded her scenes toward the end of S2, as we just got bored with her.
Slower pace, same intensity - By: Benfica, 09 Feb 2010
Although running at a slower pace than Season 1, the intensity & power of Season 2 is still breathtaking. The torture scenes are a bit hard, so don't let your kids watch it.
JACK BAUER - By: Bargain Hunter, 12 Oct 2009
Another generous helping of CTU & Jack Bauer.

You can easily watch this series again & still be entertained.

Buy it..!
The GREATEST Return - By: Mitun, 30 Aug 2009
24 fans, I can proudly say that Jack is Back with a bang.

It is near to impossible to improve or better something, which was original & innovative. I guess the word impossible is an unknown word to the creaters (Joel Surnow & Robert Cochran) who have created 'THE BEST SEASON' of the 24 franchise, which easily supercedes season 1.

In season 2, the main two effective ingredients are gripping suspense & engaging drama, which accomodate more twists & turns than alll the other 24 seasons combined together.

All the important characters including 'David Palmer (Dennis Haysbert)' return in style to produce flawless performances. As for Jack (Kiefer Sutherland), he's simply BACK!

Whatever entertainment, excitement, drama, & tension you experienced watching season 1, just multiply it by a hundred & you have season 2. The suspense in each episode is just a killer.

Ladies & Gentlemen it's officialy the the most scintalllating 24 hours of our lives.

Please note that every season is linked therefore, you need to watch season 1 to understand season 2 & so forth.

24: Season 2 demands to be seen.

Enjoy!
