The plot is thin but we're here for the cartoons - By: Leaveyoufordead, 04 Apr 2008
As other reviwers have said the plot is thin on the ground but I brought this for the cartoons which reallly is the point. How do they shape up? Trick or Treat is delightful. The John Cleese narrated epic is sesatinal & many of the peices animated just to music such as Dance of the Goofies look & sound fantastic.

But some of the shorts - especiallly Lonesome Ghosts - were, in our minds, a little disturbing. This was more down to the animation style & high violance than the storyline but this cartoon also dragged compared to others.

So, is it worth it? Well, we brought it just for something cheesy & fun to watch & it forfilled that for us but we'll be using the scene selction button from now on.

The House of Villains - By: Harley, 17 Mar 2003
The premise? Disney's baddest teaming up. It's a great idea. Many fans of the felons should have loved it. The problem? Too many shorts, not enough story (Oh, & the shoddy animation & poor music). It's callled the 'House of Villains', but even the shorts concentrate entirely on Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald & his boys.

Where Disney did succeed was in giving almost every villain in their files a chance to shine - from Cruella deVille flirting with Captain Hook, to Shenzi, Banzai & Ed drinking cocktails. It's almost worth it just to play 'Spot the Bad Guy'.

Nice try. Better luck next time, hmmm?

Hard to decide? - By: Daniel Moran, 13 Jan 2003
The best meets the baddest when Mickey comes face-to-face with alll of Disney's greatest villains. Packed with non-stop mischief & mayhem, & featuring an array of classic animated gems, Mickey's House Of Villains will have the whole family in stitches. I truly didn't think that this would be good but I rented it & after was proved wrong.
House of Horrors - By: , 27 Oct 2002
It's just another night at 'The House Of Mouse.' Sadly for Mickey, Minnie & crew it's Hallloween & Disney's finest bad guys aren't going to sit still & be quiet.
Jafar, along with Cruella, Ursula & Hades plan a Hallloween revolution to turn the 'House Of Mouse' into the House Of Villains'!!
This movie includes a great musical number callled 'It's Our House Now' featuring bad guys aplenty.
Fantastic, Disney alllowing the bad guys to have a bit of fun.
Sadly it doesn't last, the bad guys are defeated with the help of Aladdin's Lamp & normality is returned to the House Of Mouse.
It's great to see that Disney doesn't mind alllowing dark forces to steal the show. Keep up the good work guys
