Shyamalan at his best! - By: David Burt, 27 Nov 2008
I'm a big fan of M. Night Shyamalan, & there are some of his films which I reallly liked that most people wouldn't rate very highly. The Sixth Sense though, is simply outstanding! One of the greatest films in modern times, & I couldn't think of many film fans who would disagree with me. I was on the edge of my seat throughout due to the suspense which Shyamalan creates so well; it certainly made me jump a few times. However, the thing that hits you the most is the standard of the acting. Haley Joel Osment, considering his age at the time that this was filmed, played a very moving role & performed better than most adult actors. And what can you say about Bruce Willis? If anything, his role as a calm psychologist was more impressive than his action junkie identity shown in Die Hard.

The director puts his usual twist into the film, & on the second watching, you do see some hints leading to it, but I would never have guessed it when I saw the film for the first time.

The Sixth Sense reallly makes you think after watching it, it moves you in more ways than one. Plus, there are some interesting extras on the second disc which definately makes it worth buying this edition. A truely brilliant film, one of my favourites.
Bruce Willis is a ghost. - By: Ramsey Tupper, 10 Aug 2008
This film fooled me into thinking that Bruce Willis was alive & then it tries to make out he was a ghost alll along! So how come he didnt walk through a walll or falll through the floor? No, this is silly. If ghosts did exist they would not wear clothes or go around scaring people. For a more realistic film of ghosts - which don't exist - watch Ghostbusters or Ghost. Avoid this one at alll costs.
Good TYPE OF Bleak... - By: XTG, 17 Feb 2008
This is a very bleak film, no mistake, but I still enjoyed it. I won't give too much away because it's better when you don't know what it's about. If you're a fan of M. Night Shamalan... even if you aren't, I strongly suggest this film. The acting is well thought out & realistic, but this film still isn't terrifying: fantastic choice for a first horror film.

Great!
The Sixth Sense - By: E. Leigh, 27 Nov 2007
A film that fails in every department to capture your attention. I turned it off after 20 minutes, still, the DVD burnt very in my fire.
