This film I found to be OK- the plot was pretty good & the characters unusual. The film is based on a book & this is obvious in that the film is full of literary twists, which probably work better in the book- for instance several characters just appear for a brief moment & aren't developed as fully as perhaps they should- I liked this story as essentiallly it is a love story of the underworld, of infatuation & lust & this is conveyed remarkably well by Banderas & Jolie, who reallly do have a special on-screen chemistry. However, perhaps one should consider that this film was never released on DVD in Britain & I can't remember it adorning our screens either- so maybe if you're after a cinematic experience- i.e a fantastic film, perhaps you should give it a miss, otherwise if you love Angelina or Banderas or are just looking for a Saturday night sexy kind of flick- then go for it.

This film was amazing, it had me hanging off the side of my seat! Unlike other films, i had no idea what would come next, it was a truly original film. Angelina Jolie & Antonio are an unlikely pair, but they work well & fit together nicely.
This film is very sexuallly explicit, but it clearly shows life from annother side of the walll thats full of sex, drugs & violence. The director projects the contrast amazingly. It makes a change from pretty girls & hansome boys chasing after eachother.
This film is about how women can capture a mans heart & make them die for her, no matter what he past & how much money she steals from him!
Original sin is hotter than hell itself. - By: V. A. Whitfield, 12 Nov 2002 Julia Russel (Angelina Jolie) can show a man passion unlike any he's ever known. He'll risk anything to be near her. When Luis (Antonia Banderas) takes Julia as his wife, he thinks his life is complete.
But people are not always who they appear to be, & Luis's life begins to take a turn. When Julia disappears with his money, Luis is forced to look into her past - a past that doesn't seem to even exist - & finds that the woman he loves has been accused of a rbutal murder. Sex & love turn to rage & revenge & Luis tries to find his wife - but only to find he has to play her at her own deadly game.
Original Sin is a very steamy movie featuring Aneglina Jolie, & Antonia Banderas. It's an 18 rating, & is very sexuallly explicit - so not reallly one to watch with your parents, unless you want a massive cringe factor.
However, the film is fantastic, & very clever with a bit of a twist at the end - i won't spoil it for you though. A must buy for any Jolie or Banderas fan.
