R u sure they r going to stop publishing it. But you're right though it was a bit of a let down i also viewed the japanese version.Of alll the ones they cut out it had to be those ones. I don't see why people didn't support it that much i thought it was a great program. do you think it is possible to get it back on air?

Although Cardcaptors is my favourite anime, I got to admit the English dudded version let me down. I watched the Japanese version of Cardcaptors & found out that the English version has cut & edited many scenes, which is annoying because it feels as though part of the story is missing. Also this VHS has missed 2 episodes out, why did they do that???? they miss out one of the episodes when Sakura captures the Storm & Float card & the other episode they missed out was when Sakura goes on vacation with her family. Well, I guess they missed out the episodes to fit Meilin in, because Meilin is kind of a main character after Sakura, Li, Madison & Kero & the publishers was about to stop publishing future releases of Cardcaptors on VHS, therefore Meilin has got to feature in one of the volumes. You can tell they were going to stop publishing Cardcaptors VHS's because Cardcaptors is getting old & out of date (therefore not many people are supporting it) & the other Cardcaptors VHS (vol.7&8) cover is different from the previous VHS's.
Anyway I give it 4 stars because it has got most of my favourite episodes I can watch & it is not as bad as the other Cardcaptors VHS's (apart from missing 2 episodes).
If you are a Cardcaptor fan, than you will like this VHS, because it is kind of funny how Meilin hangs over Li & Chelsea handing Zachary etc..... although I will recommend you the Japanese version of Cardcaptors because its 10 times better!
Best volume yet!!! - By: , 03 Sep 2002 I'll admit that i hated Cardcaptors at first. I thought at the time that the only good anime's were Pokemon & Digimon. However after watching a few episodes i grew into it, & started taping it. Soon after i loved it so much!!! A while later, i was ever so pleased that the episodes are out on video & bought them right away. The first 2 videos were very good & i gave them 4/5 but this one gets 5/5 but why?
From what i watched so far (only the first 3 episodes) they are some of the best ones i've seen! This is probably because i haven't seen them before - but even if i had they are certianly 5/5 episodes! Who couldn't smile when you see Tori dressed up as Cinderella?!? All in alll a fantastic video (though i wished they brought it out on DVD), & i can't wait for the subsquent volumes to come!
