Saved by WIlliams and Robbins - By: Jay, 23 Jun 2007
The film suffers from a boring first half that seems to be going nowhere fast & only has a few scattered laughs but then begins to succeed due to the great chemestry between Williams & Robbins. It may not be perfection but because of great performances from the two leads, many laughs.
One of William's Best - By: JCV, 27 Jun 2005
A bit slow at first as Robin William's sleazy car salesman personality is developed, but enter Tim Robbins & the sparks fly. Tim Robbins' character enter with a loaded automatic & holds everyone in the dealershop hostage, demanding to know who's been "doing" his wife. We then watch an unforgettable, riproaring, & hilarious series of events as the sleazy car salesman redeems himself by using alll of his sleazy sales pitch techniques to con the gunman into letting alll the hostages free, one by one, & eventuallly surrender himself to police!
