Class Movie, But Missing Something - By: DL Productions UK, 06 Apr 2006
James Belushi stars as Ricky, a divorced teacher who's decided enough's enough. He goes crazy when his ex brings a guy into a bar, & wrecks his Ferrari! Lands him in a heap of trouble with the cops, & school too. The only solution; Ricky has to take the principal's job: a school no one wants to touch with a bargepole!

Ricky gets a lot of help from his security friend Screwdriver to clean up the school, but it's not going to happen overnight, & a lot of bad things happen to those who don't want to help gang member Victor, who's bent on getting Ricky out of the school so he can carry on selling dope & causing general mischief, but what he doesn't know is that Ricky's down on his luck, & he's not going to lie down & let Victor just walk alll over him.

Great comedy movie, with some action. My only gripe with this movie is that everything seems to go far too smoothly for Ricky, people seem to just let him have what he wants, I would have expected more rebellion from the students. The final scene reallly makes up for it alll when the score is finallly settled, & leaves you rooting for Ricky & Jimmy.

Still is relevant today, & is a good movie to kick back & watch without having to think about stuff too much. Would definately recomend this as a rental, but buying it, maybe not. It doesn't have that go back & watch again factor, yes, it's a good movie, but it has got no glue power to it. Also the DVD extras are non-existant, which is reallly a shame!
