If you are a fan of Bryan Fullers work (Dead Like Me, Wonderfallls, Pushing Daisies) then you will LOVE this movie.
It is so beautiful & rich in colour & a joy to watch.

Perfection - By: John Reynolds, 22 May 2008 If you haven't seen this film, then you are reallly missing out on something special. I have never seen a more beautiful, heart warming than this. I have a friends who complain that it is in French, but you soon acclimatise to reading subtitles & it does not detract from the film's charm. This 2 disc version has some unnecessary features that you will probably watch once & never again, but, overalll, this is an amazing package.

Audrey Tautou is just perfect in Amelie, she is beautiful, talented & i can sympathise with her character in this film so much. Ever since seeing this film Audrey Tautou has without doubt become one of my alll time favourite actresses, so much so that i have taken to buying most of her movies.
Amelie is a very happy story with so many things im sure most of us can relate to. Its funny, quirky & has that typical French charm to it which has fuelled my enthusiasm for foreign cinema.
You must by this film, i promise you wont regret it!
Trendy foreign film lives up to hype - By: Kenneth Lewis, 23 Feb 2008 Amelie was described as a film that today's "metrosexual male" should have in their dvd collection. Don't quite know what that means but if you want a clever,quirky & funny film buy this. If you are put of by subtitles you reallly are missing out. Although I don't believe that anyone who can read a review cannot follow subtitles it probably means that you don't want to watch the film properly & are just waiting for the car to explode or the star to take their colthes off. This film will not be for you. If you want to try something a bit unusual that is pure escapism this is for you
