I had high expectations of this DVD, but found it patchy. Of course, that's usuallly the way of SNL in general but for one of the world's highest paid comics it is something of an irregularity. For better watching character comedy check out the likes of Paul Whitehouse in Help.

Before Mr. Myers made it big in the UK with such movies & Austin Powers & Wayne's World etc... he was a regular player in the American T.V. comedy Sketch Show Saturday Night Live. This best of version DVD has a great collection of his best characters! You'll see his original Wayne's World sketch (with guest stars Aerosmith & Madonna) & his ever popular character Linda Richman- where he plays the New York Jewish Mother talk show host (a portrayal of his REAL mother-in-law!!). Mike Myers was one of the most popular comics to appear on SNL & now you'll be able to see why! It's so hilarious, you'll want to watch it again & again! Share it with friends!
