I first saw this film when it was shown on t.v many moons ago & for a few years the wonderful memories of it lay dormant in my mind. Fast forward to last year. I, by then a young man in my late teens, short on facial hair, on the look out for thrills, came across this jem buried at the back of a second hand video shop next to teenage mutant ninja turtles. I have now watched the treasure on numerous occasions & can honestly state there is no film like it. Whether it is the jokes or the characters like the giant who runs a hardware store or the half man half fish, its simply the best. It also stars that guy from groundhog day & theres something about mary. The moment I saw that legend on the box I knew it was good & quite frankly that guy deserves so much more credit than he gets. Brilliant. Unique. Weird. Funny. You simply must see this
