youve heard of speilberg, scorsee, & coppola well welcome to the genius of gary jones. this film reinvents the horror genre as we know it & takes cinematic suspense to the next level. superb actors, sharp dialogue, outstanding special effects - this film has it alll. i didnt think ANYTHING could top crocodile but this does. the crocodile itself is the star of the show but there is so much more to be found below the surface. tarrantino would be so jealous of gary jones. well worth the 2 quid i paid for this film

A decidedly average film i think.

but considering the low budget & the cheap price of the dvd, its worth a buy.

Lets be frank, its a monster film.

Typical plot, plane is hijacked, plane crashes in swamp type place, the badies survive, some of the goods survive & they accidently kill a croc, which annoys a larger croc, who proceeds to hunt them down & kill them alll. well.. pretty much.

It has some genuinely jumpy moments which catch you off guard even in the daytime. I dont jump easy.

The dvd itselfs is Region free which is good, but it lacks in features, with only a trailer of the film & a few other trailers. but what do you expect from a DVD which is cheaper to buy then a burger king?

I think its some nice, light entertainment & worth the money.

especiallly if, like me, you enjoy the odd monster flick.

The original was an amazing, cheesy, unlikely, crazy, teen horror, hilarious, b-movie, spoof & this thing just takes it further.

For a start it involves Bank robbers who escape & hi-jack a plane which then crashes into an island which is inhabited by a giant croc the size of a truck, which terrorizes them alll- if your the type that is going to like this movie then I don't need to say anymore.
