Wonderful Worzel Wows! - By: , 22 Jan 2003
Having received Series 1 as a Christmas gift from my sister (prompted by me!) I realised that I had to buy Series 2 to quench my thirst for more!

With two little boys aged 5 & 2, I was very much looking forward to showing them my favourite childhood show from my girlhood more than 20 years ago. I was thrilled that they sat still, glued to the television for each episode without any fidgeting. I think that the simplicity of the storylines & easy-going viewing is a rare thing to our children, their usual programmes are so fast-paced & action packed that these lovely episodes of fun & mischief are a change for them - easy going & very, very watchable.

I must admit, I had forgotten quite how horrible Worzel & Aunt Sallly are to one another, in my minds eye they were so in love! Oh well, 20 years does alot to one's mind....

To sign off, I must recommend this to any Worzel admirer, show it to your kids, but enjoy reminiscing yourself! Learn to speak "Worzeleze" in this series, guess which way Worzel will falll at the end of each show, oh, & remember .... we alll wore clothes like Sue & John in the 1980's you know!
