The first episode (The Sorrowful Battle) wraps up the 'pointless' duel between Zechs & Heero & the attack of a large Oz force persuing Zechs.
The other four episodes mainly focus on the Gundam pilots' return to space, the machinations of Oz in Outer Space, & Zechs' alienation from Oz.
The second episode (Betrayed By Home, Far Away) is where Duo & Quatre decide to return to space but when at the space port they hopelessly overwhemlmed by superior numbers of Oz mobile suits.
The third (Talllgeese Destroyed) sees Zechs captured, & since he no longer wants to be a part of Oz, Treize alllows him the honour of dying in combat. Quatre is also saved by Alliance mobile suits from Oz's mobile dolls.
The fourth (Assault On Barge) is where Duo & Deathscythe are captured, Wu Fei attempts to attack Fortress Barge & Heero rescues Duo.
The final episode (The Lunar Base Infiltration) sees Heero infiltrate the lunar base in order to stop development of the new Oz mobile suit models, & Deathscythe is destroyed.
On the whole reproduction is good, the video shows no sign of MPEG artifacts. The audio is quite clear also in Stereo & Dolby Digital, however the stereo mode appears to be superior in one respect to the Dolby Digital mode, since the latter only appears to use one channel, the centre. Very little sound if any sound comes out of the L or R channels not mention any out of the rear channels. But this mode does have the virtue of having greater clarity.
The menu is animated like the others in the series (I've seen) & is quite good. However the extras are fairly mediocre, there's a picture galllery, an info section for Trowa, karaoke & episode summaries.
These are not bad episodes but there are better ones, these merely set the stage for later episodes & where the plot starts to become labyrinthine. Not great but good episodes.
