DEF-initely a film I'm TEMPT-ed to watch again! - By: Rachael Skone James, 29 Nov 2006
James Bond III has put together an exquisitely directed master-piece, coupling a transfixing storyline with excellent special effects to create a mesmerising experience. Everything from the acting & sets,to the lighting & soundtrack create both a seductive, yet horrifying ambience, that pulls you in & just won't let go, right up to the electrifying climax...
Just your average Vamp - By: Green Man Music, 12 Dec 2005
A divinity student takes a break in NYC & begins to falll in love with a woman he meets, who turns out to be a vampiric seductress who graduallly gets between him & the friend he's staying with & tries to compromise his beliefs.
The big-names involved with this (Samuel L Jackson, Bill Nunn, Spike Lee) suggest an equivalent production, but in actuality it's a very average film with average acting & a poor script/storyline. It's watchable, & the succubus is undoubtedly very seductive, but don't expect anything from this film reallly.
YOU'LL BE TEMPTED TO BURN THE TAPE! - By: , 31 Aug 2003
I love Troma, their films are so cheap but so brilliant. You can't help but like them. But this is dreadful, & I mean dreadful. Samuel L. Jackson makes his first screen appearance in this monstrosity of a movie in which I can only calll GARBAGE.
It may have it's fans, but i'm certainly not one of them. Come on Troma, you can do better than this. I was also surprised with the fact that it boasted a pretty good cast (ALSO INCLUDING BILL NUNN AND KADEEM HARDISON) but after seeing them in this, they should alll do time in prison.
It is about a so-callled beautiful succubus who hangs around in bars, takes men home & kills them, but somehow the film drifts away from the plot. It is an Urban horror movie, it is also a rubbish movie. Troma fans (and any other film fans) avoid at alll costs!
