The last review was actuallly not entirely true... The film that s/he spoke of was the 1990s remake of this DVD, which is a musical.
It can be loved by people of alll ages, & is a real treat to watch. Digitallly enhanced in this DVD version, the music & dance numbers are ten times better than they ever were before, & you can watch it as often as you like without losing quality.
The plot centers around a place where fairytales & nursery rhymes are real, & everyone gets along brilliantly. Little Bo Beep, however, is not as happy as she should be because she is in debt, & the man that she loves has been kidnapped. Her children run off into the Woods Of No Return in search of a resolve, but get lost. Everyone ends up in the middle of the woods, a place callled Toyland, where a Toymaker & his assistant make toys for the children, & must help him make the toys, but the debt that is owed by Bo Peep is coming after her, in the form of a very nasty (but awfully funny) man & his sidekicks, who will stop at nothing to ensure that the bad guy marries our heroin so that he can own alll of her land. How will it end? Happily, of course, like alll musicals! But it is the trip that matters.

i calll this review babies in toyland because the film is about a girl who lives a happy life with her parents im not going to say too much about the film because that will give the plot away & there would be no point in seeing it! But when she & her friends go out in a car & bump into a tree that knocks her unconcsous she slips into the 'toyland' world. She then becomes a baby again! but what person wouldnt?if i met 'old mother hubbard' & jack with his beanstalk!i would be in my element!i just love films like this where it brings old childhood memories back!this film does this as thorughout the film it is constantly bringing old nursery rhyme characters in from days from afar!I love this film & i recommend that if you want a cosy night in & want to replay back those old childhood memories of the nursery rhymes you used to sing when you were a toddler then buy this movie!you'll not regret it!
