Great, almost quiessential Ali viewing - By: , 28 Feb 2006
A brilliant & well-worked documentary. It includes much interesting & intelligent footage that I, for one being a huge Ali fan have never seen before.
It includes great interviews with the man himself, his trainers, various journalists, contemporary boxers, ordinary fans. It is shot in the creditable 'gonzo journalistic' style with much panache & creativity as it focuses on peoples' emotions more than the actual fight itself therefore adding the to the dramatic power of Ali's victories over Liston & Foreman.
Its funny, uplifting & interesting stuff - do not hesitate to buy this film!!

What no boxing - By: , 16 Jul 2004
This is a collection of rare footage of Ali from the olympics to Rumble in the Jungle. Great for fans of the great man but no so great for boxing fans. Only stills of his fights are offered on the film. In short Ali without his fights !! I enjoyed it though & I'm sure it will get the occasional viewing now & again.

reallly good, if you like to watch Ali's fights.
too bad it only shows pictures of his fight with Foreman in Zaire. besides this little upset, the doc. is great.
much better then the crappy, a.k.a Cassius Clay.
