Rubbish! - By: , 09 Aug 2004
After reading alll the great reviews for this film I thought it would be a sure fire hit, however when i started to watch it I was reallly disappointed & quite embarrassed, the storyline was stupid, the acting was embarrassing (apart from the v gorge Dorff, but even he couldn't save this film)I was ready to turn it off after the first 15 mins but made myself watch it & wish I hadn't the ending was terrible & I thought this film was also rather crude!!if you ask me DO NOT buy this film!!
Please Compare - By: Nathan, 23 Jul 2004
We are indeed are to have our own opinions, but Samigev from Leeds. If you are to review a Water's masterpiece then please compare to something that you think is decent? Not just criticise the fans that support his work. Heck, yeah we are loyal. But then who wouldnt adore the prince of puke, Filth forever
Seems like only fans write reviews - By: , 01 Jul 2004
This movie's plot reallly sounds interesting & with such great reviews by customers I thought it was a sure-fire at only £5.75. However, when I saw it I felt disappointed, but more than disappointed I felt bored, I only watched like 20 minutes & then decided to do something else, I felt like watching an episode of "Sabrina the teenage witch", blunt & tasteless. If you decide to disregard my opinion because I didn't watch the whole thing, then you watch it & tell me what you think.
Why would you not want this movie? - By: nathan, 29 Dec 2003
John Waters does it again. This film is fantastic. Yet again Waters uses humour & satire in a perfect blend. Its great to see Ricki Lake & Mink Stole appearing & heres hoping they will in his new film 'A Dirty Shame'.
I cant believe that even though many of the original Dreamlanders are not with us,(rest in peace, you cult hero's) Waters countinues to make his point & make everyone (well me & any other person that has a sense of humour) laugh out loud. The patch adams scene is classic. Buy this, Buy this now! And then continue to buy alll of Waters films. And lets join together to celebrate Filth.
Why So Short? - By: , 25 Jul 2003
Mr Waters has always made wonderfully out there & sleezy films, hairspray, pink flamingos, cray baby & many more, this new edition id very welcome, & still has waters' camp ideal mixed with biting social commentry.

Dorff (who is v v beautiful) plays the psychotic director along with many faces you will recognise & of course, Ms Griffith, who almost steals the show.

The funniest bits of this film are when the sprokets are pledging themselves to an auter.... noting that waters knows about his strong following.

My only qualm with this film si that it is under 90mins. But maybe tht's a comment on how unbearably long films are becoming.

Buy this cuz you cant rent it. The special features aren't actuallly that bad either. keep you entertained for another hour.
