Pure Comedy Genius! - By: , 04 May 2005
I saw Napoleon Dynamite on a flight to America, & it made it the most entertaining flight I've ever been on! Some people will watch this film & think 'What the hell is this?' but if you get subtle humour then this will be one of the funniest films you've ever seen. There is not one 'obvious' joke in there, but the delivery is superb, straight from Napoleon's opening line

'What are you gonna do today Napoleon?'

'Whatever I feel like doing, gawd'!

The more you watch it the more you'll pick up, I actuallly think the 2nd/3rd time you watch it you'll find it funniest. Snap it up now, this will become a cult classic.

Best film of 2004 - By: Justin Cooke, 17 Jan 2005
The writer & director's of this film are the love children of Wes Anderson & John Walters. This movie was by far the best film of 2004. Quirky, kooky, perceptive, irreverent indie film-making at its very best. Each character has a perfect set of nuances & its very, very funny. I would buy this DVD for the brilliant title sequence & for one of the funniest (and best) dance sequences ever committed to celluloid.
One of the funniest films I've seen in years! - By: , 10 Jan 2005
Every once in a blue moon a film like Napoleon Dynamite comes along & reminds us how good subtle humour can be. In fact, the more you watch this film the more hilarious it becomes - its sure to be a cult classic.

Look out for the time machine scene - its pure genius!

I rarely ever buy DVDs but this one is reallly worth having!

hahaha this was freaking hilarious! - By: D. Geffin, 25 Dec 2004
Haha i was dragged to see this hilarious film but man oh MAN was i glad i was! It was a sleeper hit that i would never have probably looked into otherwise!

This is a real slice of life film, about a geeked out uber geek from Idaho - you might not like it, i know a lot of Americans thought it was junk - but it's humour is very irreverant & sometimes you have no idea why you are laughing ("Tina you fat lard, eat your dinner!", "You got like 3ft of air that time. Sweet!" etc but it is!

See this movie with a couple of mates & see what you think - i'm getting a copy as soon as i can though!
