Well i first saw the film about 2 monthes ago & at that point in time it was not that great & at this point in time its still not that good even after my friend edd pretendng it was good to get me to watch it. So anyway i watched it & the acting is not great abit like a school play at a primary school & the storyline was obviously concieved whilst on a train. I wouldnt recommened this film. However it is better than the film pulp fiction.
Beware toxic contamination..........or else?! - By: , 20 Jul 2004
First saw this film when I was younger on pre-cert video which I
have a copy of now.
This however is the D.V.D version which I havent actuallly seen but assume there are no changes.
The story is simple & scary, two brothers travel to a little
southern town in U.S.A for a much needed vacation, but on arrival
are pursued by rednecks who "run" them of the road.
When they finallly arrive in the town, they discover a ghost town
where people are being transformed into blood-lusting vampire like creatures.
One of the brothers "Mike" disappears along with various other members of the cast until finallly only Mike's brother"josh",the local school teacher "Holly",and the sheriff "Will" remain.
While "Will" goes in search of help,"Holly" & "Josh" are pursued into an abandoned garage by the creatures in what has to
be one of the scariest scenes I have ever seen.
This film has obviously alot of influences, notably "Night of the living dead" & is similar to another 80's classic that deals with toxic waste & things gone wrong "C.H.U.D".
Great horror film with some good special effects.
By the way "Mutant 2" as it was released in the U.K is connected
in name only & probably isn't available on D.V.D yet!
