A super production of Salieri's Falstaff - very much in the style & of the quality of Mozart. The cast is excellent, especiallly John Del Carlo as Falstaff. The smalll stage at the Schwetziner Festspiele is often rather limiting but it seemed to suit this production. The set designer & producer showing what could be done with a bit of imagination. The only minus was that the microphones picked up rather a lot of clumping about on stage.
Highly recommended.
