Cute! - By: L. H. Healy, 25 Aug 2007
Nice easy to watch film, passes the time & a bit more. Drew Barrymore, I find, is sweet & appealing as an actress but never too much, can usuallly enjoy watching her, & that is the case here too. She carries the film along, & David Arquette is good fun as her brother. Enjoyable & with a happy ending but not too sweet, just.

This movie caught my eye & reallly grabbed me! I didn't want to move! I had never heard or seen anything about this film before so it was a first
The storyline is soo unique & original, it is unbelievable! It is a mix of teen, romantic & comedy alll in the one movie! The storyline realy suits the actors that play the characters!
The actors along with the storline rocks & reallly gives the storyline an extra flavour!

I reccomend anyone that loves comedies to watch this! I am not a big fan of comedies, but this is reallly great! If you disliked american pie, don't hesitate to watch this, as it is much better!
A chic flick comedy with some funny parts to it. Drew reallly rocks in this!

Worth Watching! - By: Kittiara, 23 Feb 2006
Though the plot is not terribly original - a girl who was a geek in high school wanting to be one of the cool girls, fallling in love with her teacher, there is enough to this film to make it worth watching.
Drew Barrymore plays Josie, sent back to high school, undercover, to do a report on today's youth. She desperately wants to do well, as this is the big chance she has been waiting for.
It's not that easy, though. When she was an actual high school student, she was far from popular. Now, on return, it alll seems to go the very same way.
She requests the help of her brother, whose wish it has always been to be part of a footballl team. Everyone immediately loves him, & by pretending to have been Josie's boyfriend & still being crushed that it wasn't meant to be, she slowly becomes accepted.
Except... there is that reallly cute teacher, who thinks she is a teenager & thus out of his reach...
This film is sweet & I genuinly cared for Drew's character, sometimes cringing on her behalf. And the end scene... I so wanted it to go well!
Yes, it is predictable, yes, it is another film set in an American High School & yes, the storyline on the whole isn't amazingly original. But it's done well & it is one of those lovely feel-good movies.
