If you want to see what happens at the beginning or how the characters have evolved (E.G Smithers was brown but he is now yellow) then this is the video for you.
SOME ENCHANTED EVENING- In this episode Bart & Lisa catch Mrs Botz the babysitter bandit
BART THE GENIUS- After Bart switches I.Q tests with Martin Prince he is sent to a school for geniuse. Can he handle it & will he be able to tell his family the truth?
HOMERS ODYSSEY- After Homer is fired from his job he feels like he has let his family down. When his family are nearly killed on a dangerous crossing he decides that his purpose in life safety.
THERES NO DISGRACE LIKE HOME- When Homer decides that his family is the worst in town he decides to take them to family therapy.
BART THE GENERAL- Bart decides that bully Nelson Muntz has beaten him up one to many times so he declares war.
MOANING LISA- When Lisa is depressed & playing her saxaphone she meets a new friend Bleeding Gums Murphy.
THE TELLTALE HEAD- Jimbo Jones tells Bart that he would love someone to cut the head off the Jebediah Springfield statue so Bart does it. This makes him realise how much Jebediah means to everyone so he tries to return the head.
SIMPSONS ROASTING ON AN OPEN FIRE- At christmas Bart gets a tattoo so Marge has to spend their xmas present money to get it removed. Homer then finds out that he isnt going to get his christmas bonus, he feels that hes ruined christmas until he finds the perfect present.
CALL OF THE SIMPSONS- Homer tries to out-do Flanders by buying a run down R.V. When they get to the forest in it, it gets destroyed. It is now up to Homer to teach Bart some nature skills.
HOMERS NIGHT OUT- After being snapped with an exotic dancer Homer becomes instantly recognised. He then has to teach Bart that it is wrong to treat women like objects.
LIFE IN THE FAST LANE- When Marge feels neglected by Homer she turns to Jacques her handsome bowling instructor.
KRUSTY GETS BUSTED- When Krusty is convicted for Robbery Bart is convinced that he was set up.
THE CREPES OF WRATH- Bart is sent on a student exchange to France & is treated like a slave. Adil the boy who is staying with the Simpsons gets on very well with Homer but he seems to have a secret!
Classic Simpsons - By: , 25 Dec 2001 Fine this may be the first episodes ever made & are a bit of the colour but if you want to know how it alll started then this collection is for you. All the fave bits are in there such as how bart loves Krusty or how the simpsons got their dog & Homer's somewhat misguided views of marges sisters. With simpsons on the tele virtuallly every day (If you got sky) the shows are getting a bit of pace & losing the sparkle the show had before but if you want to remember the classics then you should buy this boxset. I own about 16 single videos of the simpsons plus year 2 part 1 & 2 but this is still my fav collection. And the first episode roasting on a open fire is still the first & my alll time favourite. Brilliant

Its not much like the show we watch today but are still very good .
There are some classic moments here,remember when Homer & Bart got lost in the woods,or when Marge considered adultery,or when the family got santa's little helper well alll these moments are here & many more.

If you are a big Simpsons fan then this is definitely for u - By: , 18 Jan 2001 This set of videoes contains 13 of arguably the best Simpsons episodes of alll time. You should definitely buy this if you don't already have them on tape. If, however you have been a Simpsons fan as long as I have, you might already have the episodes on 'The Simpson Collection' videoes which were released in 1991/1992. Still, it is nice to have them alll in one place.
A Star is Born - By: rlewis6034@aol.com, 10 Sep 2000 Although some of the faces are not quite right, the voices are sometimes wrong & the animation in places a little weak, but this is where it alll began. I remember its first showing on Sky 10 years ago & was totallly taken in & the magic does not get any less. These are classic episodes which are a must for Simpsons fans, & actuallly just about anyone you can think of.
