This a fantastic episode full of intrigue & action that followers of the series will relish. Unlike some of the other adaptations the story is detailed enough to keep you guessing until the very end. There are more revelations which come to light concerning Cadfael's past.These mixed emotions Jacobi portrays with great feeling & understanding.
