Best Brit flick ever! - By: Thalia, 21 Mar 2007
I love this film. Great cast, great script, great setting. I never understood why it didn't receive more acclaim. Much better & funnier than 'Four Weddings' etc. Watch out for JC (Sean Pertwee) & Dean (Ewan McGregor) dancing round a clapped out caravan with spiked hair singing 'ONE LIFE, NO FEAR'. Fantastic.
Probably one of the best british movies ever - By: L. J. Mcgill, 19 Aug 2006
Watch this film once & you will be hooked forever. Classic surf/life movie filmed in Cornwalll with an array of British acting talent. It doesn't get any better than this.

You will either love or hate this film.

Those that love it & cherish it like a loved LP & are part of a tribe.

This film is great, in my eyes, from start to finish. In addition to what other reviews have said, this film reallly sums up southern England in 1995 (when it was released) featuring an opening sound track from the short lived Heavy Stereo. (Freedom bug was only ever released as a B side & the version used in this film only ever made it to white label) For a film released in an era dominated by the (then new) indie scene this film features a refreshing & soulfull guest appearance from Edwin Starr. You may love this film, & if you do, you will watch it again & again & again...
A cult classic for sure - By: , 13 Jul 2004
