Oliver Platt & Stanley Tucci are every bit as engaging, optimistic & hopeless as Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy, with some Marx brothers madness added into the mix.
The wonderful supporting cast includes Billy Connelly, Alfred Molina, Isabella Rossellini, Steve Buscemi & Tony Shalhoub. Everyone is perfect. The comedy ranges from witty remarks & slapstick, to surreal moments, such as when Oliver Platt's character realises he can't understand a foreign man's subtitles because he is behind them, but if he looks round into a mirror then they are the right way round...
This isn't like other things you have seen. This needs perseverence for the first 15 minutes, but then it takes off like a wonderful, er, flying thing - flying very fast.
Unique, wonderful, daft & uplifting. What more can you ask?
