Could be better - By: , 23 Dec 2003
This film is just below average in my opinion. Simply because the acting is poor in parts, the quality is bad at times & not enough happens to keep the viewer intrested for 1 hour & 40 mins. BUT this film does have its high points,(very few sadly) such as a great shootout at the end & a decent storyline. But what I find irritating is that this film could be so much better. E.G more shootouts, better acting & more features on the DVD.

It feels as though this movie has been rushed. And the producers only put in their thinking towards the last few scenes. It is not a brilliant action movie, & if you are not a paitient person I can guarentee you'll switch this off within the first half hour. I do however advise you to keep watching till the end when the best scenes come in.

It isn't much of a film & I can't blame you if you hate this.
Please don't spend your money on this looking for a fun wicked action movie. I'ts not worth it. I advise paitient people only to purchase this DVD......and believe me.....you are VERY paitient if you can wtach this to the end.

Golden boy gone bad - By: John, 08 Nov 2002
Remar (George Clooney) is the perfect golden boy gone bad. His career as a professional surfer brought him money, women & flashy sports cars, but it didn't meet his expectations.

Now the idyllic youth has transformed into a rebellious, introverted gang leader to a bunch of wild & unruly drug-dealing surfers.

Remar learns that his girlfriend (Dedee Pfeiffer) is pregnant & she wants him to leave the gang. But just as he is deciding, trouble ensues with a rival gang that leads to a deadly war. Will Remar be able to leave the gang in time, or will he become just another victim of the streets?
