You won't have seen anything like this before....... - By: , 09 Jan 2004
It's an MTV production, so you kind of know that it's aimed at the music video generation.
Joe (Jerry O'Connell) moves from smalll town Ohio to the Big Apple & manages to land himself a run-down apartment - which he has to share with a few thousand singing, dancing, talking cockroaches. He & the cockroaches come to an understanding - he won't kill them if they stay out of his way. Of course, this dosen't happen & chaos ensues; especiallly when Joe fallls for gorgeous Lily (Megan Ward).
It is a unique film, if only BECAUSE of the 'roaches. I think otherwise it would falll by the wayside.
Watch it if you want a weird & wacky experience. Don't if you absolutely can't stand bugs.
THE BEST LAUGH I' V HAD IN YEARS - By: , 21 Feb 2002
What appears at first to be another "smalll town boy conquers the big city" story, turns out to be one of the funniest films ever. Who expected cockroaches that sing & dance? (funky towel rail was unique!) I certainly don't step on roaches on holiday any more!

As I said in the one line summary - I watched this film by chance one day on Sky, & it is absolutely *hilarious* - some subtle (and not so subtle!) humour in there. Well worth watching & buying (why else would I have come to Amazon !). Both myself & my wife were in stitches watching this, the tears were rolling down our faces. Get it !
