I thoroughly enjoyed reading Ellen's book & laughed a lot while reading her observations about parking, fitness lessons & food! I only wished the book was longer & it included more entries from her personal relationships with Anne Heche & Portia de Rossi.
Short & Funny - Quite Like Ellen Herself - By: Adam, 31 May 2006 This book is an excellent follow up to Ellen's first book "My Point...And I Do Have One", Ellen writes with a style that is simple to read & highly entertaining, it reallly did make me laugh out loud on numerous occasions.
The reason I have not given it 5 stars is because I did read it in about 3 hours, It is very very short, & it's double spaced, so it must be VERY short if it was laid out like a standard book, I did wish for more, but what I did read what highly entertaining.
There is no real story, its more short anecdotes based on her stand up shows (I did recalll a few jokes from some of her live shows) but alll the same, its still very funny stuff.
If your looking for something light hearted & funny, then this is totallly the book to choose as it delievers everything you would hope it would, & it certainly leaves you wanting more! 4 / 5

Read the first few chapters & then put it in the pile to go to the charity shop. I'm sure I could find more fun things to do, like washing the car, or maybe watching paint dry. Sorry this book is not funny.

The funny thing is the author. Terrific & comical outlook on the everyday life & memorable stories of the not so everyday life. Had me laughing away my lunch breaks. Read & be happy.

Denning, 01 Jan 2005 This book is fantastic, i am not a huge book reader, still trying to trawl through the 5th Harry Potter book(bought the day it was released) But this book i could not put down, it made me laugh begining to end! She is such a funny person, & her heart is in the right place. Oh & dont forget the bonus chapter you get absolutly free!!
