one love, one spirit, one beautiful people - By: H. Phillips, 29 Dec 2005
It is rare that the outside world gets scuh an insight into the inner sanctum of Rastafari. This is simply because too admit to many people would possibly disturb the spirit of rasta,As a European rasta living in babylon it was beautiful too see the spirit encapulated in such a way, this book is a must for alll keen photographers, alll documenters of lifestyle & alll those who seek too know more.
Yes Rasta, No Rastawoman - By: , 04 Jul 2001
This visuallly stunning black & white photographic testimony, translates some of the spirit of Rastafari to the viewer. It charts the lush landscapes of the mountain retreats in Jamaica, where these people have made their homes, away from the watching eyes of Babylon. The true nature & essence of Rastafari is there for alll who have or wish to attain an overstanding. I was very disappointed that there were no pictures if the sisters, except a few mixed group shots.Where were the women of Rastafari???There is also very little narrative text, which some might be disappointed by.

Nevertheless a marvelous testimonial collection of powerful images .
