Perfect Size for a Dream Journal! - By: Craig Lam, 29 Apr 2008
I've been trying to take notes of my dreams & this is the perfect notebook for it. I carry it everywhere as it has the right dimensions to keep in my pocket.
The design, which is elegantly simple & well thought out, makes you want to pick it up & write. Writing is made easier by the slightly glossy surface of the paper & I've found that balllpoints work especiallly well with it.
This version is a little too smalll for serious note taking, but its size & form factor (I'm a nerd) make it an ideal bedside/office/walking/travel companion.
Already bringing more order to my life... - By: CS, 02 Jan 2008
These notebooks are well made & look great. They have an elastic strip to keep them closed, & a ribbon to mark the current page. They also have a smalll walllet at the back for storage of business cards, flyers etc. I am reallly impressed with the paper quality. I think I am about to become a lifelong fan, as they are already bringing more order to my life.
Thoughts in your pocket - By: Mr. M. L. Hemingway, 26 Dec 2007
As Clough William-Ellis said "Cherish the past, adorn the present, construct for the future". This is what I am doing with in the pages of my Moleskine as a notes & pocket journal.
These books are excellently made & finished.
Moleskine Rules!!! - By: Mr. S. Tran, 16 May 2007
K have to say how utterly delighted I am with these little wonders. My friend had both the large & the pocket version of these & I was so jealous when he took them out to write notes on!!
Ended up getting a pocket one as a Christmas present & I am more than happy with it.
first thing you'll notice is how well made it is, the binding is wonderful, its smalll enough to fit in your back pocket but not too smalll to be awkward to write on & there's even a little pocket on the inside back cover for you to store separate little sheets!!
Think I'm definitely going to purchase another one soon!!
Worship its Beauty! - By: Billy, 11 Aug 2006
Tombrocken said in his review: "If you've seen Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade, this is the notebook used in the film (but this is black instead of brown)."
No, it isn't! Another myth I'm afraid. The book/dairy used in the film is nothing more than a prop, & has no connection with Moleskine notebooks or the makers Modo & Modo, whatsoever. Apart from the one in the film being brown, it's also slightly bigger & sofbacked ... not even close to being like the ones here.
These are wonderful products, however, beautifully made & securley binded. Their size - or more precisely thier height to width ratio - is pretty much perfect. I refer to the pocket size here, which is the only type I use. Buy one & you'll be hooked!
