As with alll of the Gerri Hill books so far, this is a book that you just cant put down, until it has been read from cover to cover. Somehow you seem to get drawn into the story. Gerri does'nt just write sickly love stories, there is always an element of surprise, which sometimes keeps you on the edge of your seat. The characters are always very strong willed, & explained in such a way, you feel you actuallly know them. If you haven't read any books by Gerri Hill, then you are cheating yourself! I recommend every one of them.

This is a cut above the usual romance novels in that personallly, (and obviously this is an individual thing) you can relate to the characters. They are smart, strong, feminine (if you like that kind of thing) & speak their mind. I found the writing easy to read & enjoyable & look forward to reading many more of her books. Her humour made me chuckle no end.
Read it if you want to feel good about people, love & the goings on in a woman's mind.
Gulf Breeze - A Breath of Fresh Air - By: , 24 Oct 2004 A thoroughly enjoyable romance from beginning to end. The main charachters Carly & Pat are sincere & utterly believable taking the reader sensitively through their journey of love, with verbal exchanges & emotions ranging from laugh out loud humour to heart churning emotional exchanges. An absolute pleasure to read.
