DONT BUY ITS OVER-EXAGGERATED - By: SAO, 08 Mar 2006
The author, almost with cruel intention drifted away from the look of beliefs that make a country different. He exaggerated certain points to the point that they turn into fiction. Better to read : "SWISS ME" by Roger Bonner who gets his turn on the same area, but stays objective, adds humour without being hurtful. A great & funny true way to your life with the Swiss.
Accurate as a Swiss Watch - By: , 16 Apr 2005
Pinpoint accuracy including alll the little nuances that you hardly notice. This book you re-read, after spending any time in Switzerland, & find yourself nodding in agreement whilst still enjoying the humour with which it is written. The humour is genuine & not aggressive or truly xenophobic like some other 'so callled' cultural guides.
Essential reading & pocket sized for real handiness.

The Swiss in a nutshell - Sehr lustig!!! - By: N. Cload, 06 Aug 2001
The author manages to sum up every aspect of the Swiss with a typical British sense of humour! Having lived in Switzerland for some time now - this book was still able to teach me some idiosyncrasies of the Swiss I didnt know. If you want to find out who what where why & how the Swiss do things - read this book. Essential reading for the smalllest room in the house.
This book is Great! - By: , 01 Dec 2000
I reallly enjoyed Xenophobe's Guide To The Swiss. It kept me laughing but well informed alll the way through. I found it to be a very thorough reference to the Swiss. Without being too long & drawn out. I particularly liked the sections on "The Bells" & "Dental Holidays". I liked this book so much I want to send a copy to my whole family.
